Her Little Promises

    Now it is summer, but probably when you are reading this you have already gotten over its jilt. I thought, this post can wait, so I put it away for the hard times, that is to say, when I will not have time for writing. But I hope  that you will like it and maybe get the feel of visiting it in the future!:D The Andrassy Castle is situated in the Hegyalja-Tokaj wine region, in Tiszadob, a little village near the freeway. They have finished the restoration in the recent past so it is brand new or right as good as new. The building is astonishing and so is the garden which represents with its boxwood labyrinth different styles. The interior is not worth visiting it,it is partly poorly furnished. The accent is on the outside. Not far away (just a few minutes), there is also a nice backwater. This was the first castle and garden of this kind, so it is a lovely memory.

    New year, new promises. Baking cupcakes is definitely a new thing from me and I promised you to write about my tryings. In my wanting in baking knowledge, I thought I'd better start with simpler things, such as cupcakes and with the basic recipe, you can with ease play with. Some colourful, patterned  paper cases can make it more special.
So, here is the basic recipe, but I tried it several times varying the amount of ingredients:
     -200 g baking margarine/butter
     -a few teaspoon of vanilla sugar/extract
     -one cup of sugar
     -2-2 1/2 cup of flour
     -half mug milk
     -2/3 eggs
     *You can additionally put to it cocoa powder, raisin or sliced fruit.
     First, you need to preheat the oven. Cream butter (for one thing, let it  melt a bit to make your work easier) and sugar together. If they don`t blend together perfectly, no problem, because when you add the flour it will take its effect. Add the eggs, stir in the vanilla sugar/extract. Mix it, then alternating between milk and flour, add these two gradually. Spoon the mixture in the paper cases and put them in the preheated oven. I can`t say a precise time they need to be baked, because each oven is different. Just stick a fork in one of them to see whether they are ready.

      Új év, új ígéretek. Muffint sütni pedig eléggé új dolog számomra és megígértem, hogy írok a próbálkozásaimról. Nem hiányzik belőlem a sütési tudásvágy, de gondoltam jobb lenne valami könnyűvel kezdeni, s annak is az alapreceptjével, amivel majd lehet könnyelműen játszadozni. Plusz, színes vagy mintás sütűpapírok még különlegesebbé tudják varázsolni az élményt.
Itt is van a recept, azonban az adagokon itt-ott váltosztattam:
     -200 g vaj/sütési margarin
     -néhány teáskanál vaníliacukor/kivonat
     -egy bögre cukor
     -2-2 1/2bögre liszt
     -fél bögre tej
     -2/3tojás
     *Kiegészítőként jöhet mazsola, kakaó vagy gyümölcsdarabok.
    Először elő kell melegíteni a sütőt. Habosra verni a vajat(amit a megkönnyítésként hamarabb előkészíthetsz, hogy olvadjon) és a cukrot. Ha a vajdarabkák nem vegyülnek el teljesen a cukorral, majd a liszt megoldja ezt a problémát, mikor eljön a maga ideje. Most hozzá lehet adni a vanília valamilyen formáját és a tojásokat. Majd, cserélgetve add hozzá fokozatosan adagolva a lisztet és a tejet.  Ezt követően már lehet is kanalazni a papírformákba és be a sütőbe, habár pontos idővel nem tudok szolgáni, mivel minden sütő más. Egyszerűen csak szúrj valamelyikbe egy villát, hogy megbizonyosodj róla,  kész van-e.
     Remélem, hogy tetszett ez a kis bejegyzés a recepttel, ami bár nem egy főcukrászi csoda, de megakartam osztani veletek sütési élményem. Legyen szép napotok és süssetek muffint bármi történjék is!:D
   

    If there was a chance that I could get a designer piece of clothing, I would choose a couture dress without a moment of hesitancy. Therefore, no wonder, why Haute Couture is my favourite kind of fashion week that I`m waiting for very much. There are two types of shows: one with modern, abstract patterns, vigorous colours (orange, neon, red,etc) and the other one with powdered colors, tulles, shimmering sequins. I prefer the latter, more princessy show. For me haute couture has this meaning.
     I thought I would round up my favorite dresses in a blogpost and I heartily hope that you will like my little guide!:)
     Ha lenne egy legkisébb esélyem is arra, hogy kívánhassak magamnak egy designer ruhát, akkor az egy couture ruha lenne kétségtelenül. Így aztán, nem is csoda, hogy mindig a Haute Couture divathetet várom a leginkább. Két fajta couture bemutató van: az egyik tele van erős, karizmatikus színekkel, absztrakt mintákkal, modern vonalvezetéssel, míg a másikra a púder színek, tüllök, csillogó flitterek jellemzőek. Hát, én az utolsó, hercegnősebb híve vagyok. Számomra ezt jelenti a haute couture.
     Arra gondoltam, hogy összeszedem nektek egy bejegyzésbe a kedvenceim, úgyhogy remélem teljes szívemből, hogy tetszeni fog!:)

Giambattista Valli

    The day, I watched the Giambattista show, I accidentally caught a glimpse of some Botticelli paitings, namely La Primavera and The Birth of Venus. I can say, that these dresses are quite botticellistic. It is no wonder, because a lot of designers have been influenced before  by paintings, and by Botticelli. I discerned that there is no difference between some of the embroidered flowers and the ones on Flora's dress (La Primavera). These dresses were my utmost favorites, this so-called illusion cut is icing on the hot chocolate. It makes the dresses a bit lush, but still disguised as if there was just the bare skin behind the floral pattern.
    Aznap, amikor a Giambattista showt megnéztem, véletlenszerűen utamba keveredett néhány Botticeli kép, név szerint a La Primavera és a Vénusz születése. Ezek után, állíthatom, hogy a ruhák mondhatóak egészen botticellisnek. Nem is csoda, hiszen sok divattervezőt ihletnek meg műalkotások, Botticelli festményei. Felismertem néhány virágot Flóra (Vénusz születése) ruháján, amely semmiben sem különbözött a bemutatott ruhákra hímzettek változatától. Ezek a ruhák voltak a legkedvenceim, az illúzió nevezetű nyakkivágás csak hab volt  a forró csokoládén. A ruhát kissé sejtelmessé teszik, hiszen olyan mintha a virágminták mögött már csak a meztelen bőr rejtőzködne.

Elie Saab

     Their collection reminded me of some movie scenes from around the `70s. You know, when they are driving off to the coast, beach in a cabriolet and the woman has large sunglasses and her silky scarf  is gusted through by the wind. I like the idea that this time the Elie Saab-istic tiara was replaced by a headscarf. On the top of that, I liked the pantsuits and the off-shoulder dresses, which were again from a recent past style.
    A kollekció retro filmjelenetekre emlékeztetett. Tudjátok, amikor egy cabrioletben hajtanak le a partra, a női szereplő nagy napszemüveget visel, selyemsáljába pedig belekap a szellő. Nagyon bejött az ötlet, hogy most a Elie Saab-os tiarákat ilyen fejkendővel helyettesítették. Ezek mellet, még meg kell említenem a nadrágkosztümüket és a vállnélküli ruhákat, melyek újra más időket idéztek fel.

Chanel

      Karl Lagerfeld always creates something new, something different, besides the venue styled after the art deco movement. Even the clothes reflected this style: belt just above the waist, silk dresses, applied feathers and tassels. But what really caught my attention was the little ankle bracelet beaded with white pearls. It was just unavoidable, each model was wearing it without exception. I like it, because -though being an ankle chain- it is discreet and diaphanous.

Dior

       I am very sorry for Raf Simon leaving Dior behind, his collections always moved me. Hence, at first, I was childishly against Maria Chiuri Grazia, but her first haute couture collection somehow softened my heart. The place was almost like a stage scenery from a fantasy film, a secret garden, while the models were fantastic creatures, fairies alike. And all this took place in the garden of Rodin's House. Maria Chiuri has a very strong, feminist taste. Her dresses accentuate the feminin waist, silhouette and the tiaras, hairdresses are very eyecathing. One thing that excites me very much is the Baby Dior collection, all those litte fine, embroidered and adorable dresses. :)

Valentino

       Finally, Valentino. The designer was influenced by the antique times. My favorite ones were from head to toe pleated.  I am of the opinion that pleats have a delicate air.
       From Valention`s and other`s  couture collection, we can foretell that pantsuits may take the place of sweeping dresses on the red carpet. This is one advantage of watching the haute couture fashion week, you are able to predict the trend of the red carpet, more precisely of the upcoming Acadamy Awards!;)
