Her Little Promises

   During this summer I tried to  chronicle a few places I visited through my camera lense. I not only took photographs, but I also recorded short videos. (I have also realised that I cannot record videos while I am walking :D.) I attempted to make a whole video out of these snippets and to share it with you. It is not that long, but it joins up my summer, new friends and how I caught memories. Please welcome my video. I hope you'll like it and the blogpost with the pictures is to come as well!:)

       When your sole is full of blisters, because there are so many things to see and visit, then you are in Prague.Ok, partly it was my fault since I sought after a car park that was fourty minutes away from the city centre,but in my defense: it costed less than one euro. Bargain! Park and Ride is very environment and budget friendly parking lot in big cities, however, after the whole tottering my mother would not highlight any positive sidea at all.:P
I would rather talk about my experiences than my blisters which are a bit a taste-destroyes in comparation to these pics. Regretably, I was not able to stack all the photos in this post. Till the last minute I clicked on the Post bottom I was tussling inside which one to upload.
      We started the morning with a breakfast in the Palladium which is a huge department store, it has even a Topshop. I feel the need of emphasizing it more, because I really like Topshop,but the closest one to my town is thousand km away, in Prague. After breakfast we were hyped up to explore the city!
    The city is filled with identical towers, so the power is in your hand in the top of which tower you would like to take a selfie. I highly do not recommend the Old Town Hall Tower as it took more then thirty minutes to get to the gallery.  Many tourists  elbowed and pushed ones against another to get to the railing and to make the perfect photo from the perfect angle. Half an hour before the pupetry, there was a crowd gathered in front of the clockwork. It was so funny seeing all those people ready in every minute to video record it, hence I felt the need of snapping them. Honestly, they were more interesting than the pupetry.
    The thing that in sooth engrossed me was that even in the outskirts of the town you could find old houses with facades of a by-gone century. One is not able to distinguish where the oldtown ends, so it is well worth to ramble outside the city square.
     We tried out the Czech platitudes, such as trdelnik, Pilsen, we had a walk across the Charles bridge, etc. But in the meanwhile we tried to absorb unique things too. I rather stuffed in me, because I could not halt when I saw a Paul bakery.:D I am aware, this is more a Parisian common thing.
     A város tele van egyívású tornyokkal, így szabadon lehet választani, ki melyik tetején készítené a selfiejét Prágával a háttérben. De nem annyira ajánlom a látogatást fontolgatóknak a régi városháza tornyát, mivel több mint fél órát tartott mire kijutottunk az erkélyre, ahol egymást félrenyomva próbáltak a turisták a legjobb szögből képeket lőni. Az óraszerkezet előtt ámbátor már fél órával azelőtt(ha nem több) kezdtek el gyülekezni az emberek kameráikat készenlétbe helyezve, hogy megtekintsék a bábjátékot. Én inkább ezeket az embereket fényképeztem le, mivel olyan mulatságosak voltak, míg a játék nem volt éppen annyira nagy dolog.
      Ami igazán magával ragadott a várossal kapcsolatban az az volt, hogy még a külkerületek is tele voltak zsúfolva ezekkel a régi kort megidéző épülethomlokzatokkal. Nem tudta az ember gond nélkül behatárolni az óváros hatávonalait, így élmény volt még azon kívül is sétát tenni.
      Megpróbáltuk Prága minden frázisát kimeríteni: átmentünk a Károly-hídon, ettünk trdelniket, megkóstoltuk a Pilsent, felmentünk a várba,stb. De ezalatt megpróbáltuk magunkba szívni a számunkra egyedibb dolgokat is. Én inkább magamba tömtem, hiszen nem tudtam nem bemenni egy Paul pékségbe. :D Tudom, ez inkább párizsi frázis, de nem tudtam megállni.
      Another things that I really liked were the traffic signs clued with different stickers. I snapped this while we were heading to the castle,but no matter how hard we hurried, we scarcely had time to visit the palaces, gardens and monuments, just the Saint Vincent Cathedral.

     As I promised, in the course of the weekend I am posting the continuation of my summer journey. We spent almost three days in the Czech Republic, ergo we started off on Friday and we headed back on Sunday. All of them were Fundays. We spent the first day with visiting Brno and Kromeriz (I am sorry, I will not be using those special characters above the name of the town).
Brno is the second biggest city after Prague, however to me doesn`t really seem like.  It is a very calm and neat city. We peeked in the Saint Paul and Peter Cathedral and afterwards we were rambling in the garden belove it. I noticed that in Czechia the gardens and green areas are very beautiful set up, such as the garden belove the Sternberk Castle which we also visited, though not worth a ticket prise. Even so climbing up in the Old Townhall tower is well worth seeing that view over Brno. The main square was filled to the brim with vegetable and fruit stalls, some kind of market, so I coundn`t really take pictures of it.  My biggest surprise was that I found a Max Mara store in the city centre, big thing for me as their fashion-fan.
I am very fond of the Czech architecture, one of my favorite architects is Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, so I couldn`t miss the Tugendhat Villa. Very best example of Functionalism, but there are far more building to explore on the streets of the city.
      After Brno we headed towards Kromeriz, but we were unlucky enough to find ourselves in a traffic congestion that lasted about 2 kilometres and that meant more than half an hour. But we finally arrived there, just in time at least to have a walk in the Archbishop Garden, although there are many other tremendously beautiful places as part of the Heritage ( closed before we arrived, damn traffic jam!).
        The main square is spruce, however you can mostly find brasseries.No wonder why!:D
 The park is unfolded on a territory of many acres. It is like a big adventure park for those who hold dear the nature. There is even a little zoo and whereever you go you can find peacocks released here and there.
        Unfortunately, when the sun set down it was time to drive to the hostel we slept in, but the following day was filled with even more places to discover and wonder at!:)

      In these oppressive( I am not talking about the frame of mind) summer days a limonade or an iced coffee can be very pleasent. The latter was ticked last year, just a simple version of it, so I thought over it I decided to try out detox water and lemonade this year. I`m not good neither at cooking nor at baking, but this proved to be a very easy process.The point is that you have to put all kinds of things in plane water (if I am using tap water, I first will boil it). By all kind of things I mean fruit and herbs. I made it with mint, lavander and lemongrass. You can pour sugar as well, if you`re sweet-tooth. The more you let the fruit in the  water,  the more the water takes over their flavor. Although, you are not supposed to keep them more than half a day, because fruit tend to lose their shape. I usually put my jar in the fridge, but you can prepare these in any season.

     Ezeken a nyomott(nem a hangulatra értem:D) nyári napokon mindenkire hűsítő lehet egy limonádé vagy jegeskávé. Az utóbbit tavaly kilőttem,persze csak egy egyszerűbb formáját,ezért arra gondoltam,hogy ezen a nyáron megpróbálkozom a limonádékkal és detox vízekkel. Lehet sütés-főzésben rossz vagyok, de ezeket rémkönnyű elkészíteni. A lényege az, hogy bubimentes vízbe ( a csapvizet mindig először felfőzöm és megvárom míg kihűl) beledobálsz mindenfélét ízlésed szerint. Azért a mindenféle alatt gyümölcsöket és fűszernövényeket kell érteni. Rakhatsz bele cukrot is, ha édesszájú vagy.Én citromfűvel, mentával és levendulával próbálkoztam. Minél többet hagyod a vízben a gyümölcsöket, annál inkább átadják ízüket, de azért egy fél napnál tovább nem ajánlatos tartani, mert a gyümölcsök rostokra, ízekre hullnak. A kis befőttes üvegem ilyen rekkenő időben a hűtőszekrényben szoktam tartani. De a detox vízek nemcsak nyárára kitűnő frissítők, az év bármely szakában el lehet őket készíteni.

          First I didn`t intend this a post title,in fact it was 'First in the summer', because this would have been my first outfit post this summer. But then I thought, I`d like to show you  where my heart went out, or at least my tightrope walking heart how was balancing in the last few months. Matter of  course, I couldn`t break away from patterns, so I decided to wear this geometric patterned Zara midi-dress. It is a good thing to dress up in minimalistic cloths, because you cannot shot in the air next the trendiness, in as much as you are wearing basic colors that always match with each  other. But do not forget in this big minimalismus the patterns, because I think those are the unique ones.
My backpack is the oldie, I am not that kind of blogger who shows you in each of her posts new things. It would be bizarre. In turn, my sandals are new, however its heels do not look new not even close. I warn against foam soled shoes everyone who walks stepping on her sole, because after the first usage it gets damaged. I do not wear any accessory, because this is the main idea of minimalismus. I only wear wristwatches and change my earrings.Neh,and of course sunglasses in this hot weather.
