Her Little Promises

•  How and when did you start your "blogging career" ?

•  The best part of your blog content I like to read are the travel blogposts. But my question is.... What was your most beloved place you have already visited so far and which town would you visit in this festal December period?

• Where do you live and what are the places you would recommand people to visit in your own city  at this time of the year?

• Where do you buy (if you don't do it yourself) christmas decorations from?

• Which is your favorite christmassy coffee flavour and where do you buy it from?

•  I like the "I cannot cook" part of your blog, especially not being a big chef de cuisine. But are you planning to prepare a more like christmassy dish in the near future?

• I strongly believe that everybody has a favorite Christmas or winter movie and playlist/song. I am very nosey to know which are your picks. 

 

  The other day I logged in my inbox, and besides my usual Bloglovin newsletters, there was waiting for me an e-mail sent by an unknown individual. I won't reveal his identity, but I hope that he is reading this. The e-mail had arrived weeks ago, but I never expect to get anything on my blog's e-mail. I cannot name it as a fan mail, but the positive feedback is always showering me with happiness. My surprise was even bigger when I saw that it had been written by a boy. This is one of the things that make me sacrifice a few hours each day to my blog. :)

   I decided to start a new blogpost series, a photodiary with longer or shorter narrations. In the first episode I am bringing to you photos from Cluj Napoca's streetlife. I cropped a few pictures, I gave a pink background to one of it and  I mixed the pieces of a picture, very similarly to a puzzle.
Although the weather was gloomy, different styles and genres were mixed on the streets. I'm talking not only about people, but about architecture as well, seeing modern buildings near sooty chimneys. This is what I tried to show you on my pictures.
On one of the forenoons, I went on a walk to take a few street photos of places burnt into my memory, when we were heading to our accommodation. I mostly liked the graffities, for instance: What do you do in an apocalypse?, Vandal by Nature, Artist by Work ,but there were some others filled with political meaning too. A good deal of this wall art repeated itself here and there, but only in that quarter.







  The streets of Cluj Napoca are full of teahouses, pubs and bars and it is one of those few Romanian  cities where one can find at least one third wave coffee shop. I discovered a waffle shop, called Litchi, from which I bought waffle with nutella. I'm very proud of myself, because I could wait until dinner without eating it. :D After dinner a few of us went to a local, the name of which was Cocktail Lab Bistro. This is the place where everybody can grow closer with science, namely chemistry. Drinks were served in test tubes and in beakers. On the walls were scribbled formulas, the tables top were folded with X-rays and periodic table wallpaper was applied on the walls of the loo. It wasn't as frightening as it sounds. We wouldn't mind spending our saturday nights this way with chemistry.
