Hey fashion pals! So this is the last post of my Feeric Fashion Week series, also my favorite of all the three. I also need, since I have forgotten in the previous posts, to mention and to congratulate FFW on this being the 10th-anniversary edition. That is Happy Birthday!:) It was very special from other points too: this was the first time a trans model, namely Petr Nitka, has walked down the catwalk in Romania. See, the interesting things happened during this fashion week... Including the Cylia Dorra show at the summer palace of Brukenthal, in Avrig. The venue was very romantic, with the stairs and the fountain, the best choice for this show. The designer is half Lebanese, but you wouldn't guess from these dresses, rather the French half of her, very Paris Fashion Week-like. The dresses were very simple and flattering, with cunning embroidered details, mostly floral. My favorite pieces had sheath or tea-length skirted portion. She used different colors so that everybody could find his/her favorite piece from the collection.

Hey, divatpajtik! Ez lenne a Feeric Divathetes sorozatom utolsó bejegyzése, de a legkedvesebb is mind a három nap közül. Emellett, elfelejtettem az előzőkben, említeni és felköszönteni a FFW-t, hiszen ebben az évben a tizedik évfordulóját ünnepli. Más szemszögből is rendhagyó ebben ez évben: most lépett fel első romániai kifutón transz model, névlegesen Petr Nitka. Látjátok, sok rendhagyó dolog történt ezalatt a divathét alatt... Beleértve a Cylia Dorra bemutatót a nyári Brukenthal kastély kertjében, Feleken. A helyszín a lépcsőkkel és a szökőkúttal romantikus volt, a legjobb választás ehhez a kollekcióhoz. A tervező félig libanoni, de a ruhái a francia vérvonalához húznak, hiszen a párizsi divathétbe illettek be. A ruhák egyszerűek és légiesek voltak, rafinált virágmintákkal gazdagítva itt-ott. Kedvenc darabjaimnak bővülő rövid vagy lábszárközépig érő szoknyarésze volt. Változó színeket használt, így mindenki megtalálhatta a kedvenc darabját.

I will cut the following one very short (I know that a lot of people only look at the pictures and they find the written part very repetitious): the whole fashion gang was invited to the Museum of Folkloric Tradition Astra. Here we could see by walking from one house to the other the models, wearing leather goods designed by Roncea Sebastian  and dresses created by Lavinia Ilies.

The pictures below were also taken in the historical quarter of Sibiu, where we were invited to see a collection by a designer from Chile: Paulita Errazuriz. She gave this collection the title of Stars Crossed Rosses. Romeo and Juliet was that some kind of urge that filled her at the starting point of designing. It was easy to make sense on it in this renaissance ambient.  All these exclusive dresses were from head to toe handmade, introducing new elements in each dress: unique applications, laces, different fabrics (including transparent), embroidery, etc.

PS: At the beginning, a lovely, seemingly foreign lady, was handing out these beautiful handmade fans, which matched the atmosphere.

A lentebb látható képek is Szeben történelmi negyedében készültek, ahol egy chile-i divattervező munkái kerültek bemutatásra:Paulita Errazuriz. A kollekciójának pedig  a következő nevet adta: Stars Crossed Rosses. Rómeó és Júlia története serkentette alkotásra, amit nem is volt nehéz ebben a reneszánsz környezetben elképzelni. Az összes ruha, tetőtől talpig, kézzel készült és sokféle anyag, minta volt felhasználva: csipkék, hímzések, különleges rátétek,stb.

Ui.: A bemutató kezdete előtt  egy kedves, láthatólag külföldi, néni osztotta szét közöttünk ezeket a szép kézzel készített legyezőket, amelyek tökéletesen beillettek abba a légkörbe.

The night was kicked off by Lenor, one of this fashion week's partners. We got even a little gift (I was spoiled by all these presents) from them: a floral scarf which had the fragrance of a fresh bouquet of flowers, more precisely very Lenorish. As a result of which the runway was transformed into a flower field as well and indeed, it looked very special and lovely with all those flower garlands hanging above our heads.

A következő kollekciót nem más, mint  Bianca Popp hozta elénk. Ez volt már a második, amelyet bemutatott a divathét keretén belül.Ez a kollekció, elmondása szerint, egy lány vagy nő nosztalgiáját, álmodozását hordozza magában.  A laza ruhái nagyon kényelmesnek mutatkoztak, az anyagválasztás ellenére is. Nyugodt pasztell árnyalatokat választott, minimalisták is voltak a ruhadarabok, de egy olyan mértékig, hogy romantikusak maradt.

The penultimate show presented the creations of  Anca Bardas and the collection was entitled Esemplare. This was an uncut couture collection, playing with a color palette that varied from black through brown to white. Each dress was showing signs of delicacy, each one was very different from the other pieces: there were mini, midi and mermaid skirted, but off-shoulder and two-piece dresses too.

Az utolsó előtti bemutatón Bardash kreációit láthattuk és a kollekció az Esemplare nevet viselte. Ez egy eredeti couture kollekció volt, amely egy feketétől barnán át fehérig haladó színpalettával játszott. Mindenik ruha kifinomult volt és önmagában különbözött a többi darabtól: volt mini, midi, de sellő szoknyarészes is, vállnélküli és két darabból felépülő ruha is.

At long last here is the last show of my FWW journey: Minimal To. This was very different from the shows we had seen earlier that day  at Redal Expo. The name of the label irrevocably suggests that they are minimal-based, middle-of-the-road. The colors could be a bit funereal for some people. I liked the infusion of casual and elegant pieces, but still, everything looked supercomfy being so baggy.The shoewear and the items of clothing reminded me of a spartan style, which implies the indifference to luxury. No wonder why, because this creative group focuses on the bound between the clothes and who wears them. What was more, even the hairstyles were unlike any other we saw earlier, they made it more memorable.

    

This was all about FFW, hopefully, it is to be continued next year. I am very grateful for having this chance to see all these great fashion shows and I hope that it wasn't boring at all.

Végezetül elértünk a FFW utam utolsó showjához:Minimal To. Ez sokban különbözött azoktól a bemutatóktól, amiket aznap láttunk a Redal Exponál. Ahogyan a név is mutatja, visszavonhatatlanul a minimalista stílus gyakorlói. A színek egyeseknek halottasak is lehettek kissé.Az tetszett bennük, ahogyan az alkalmi vonalat társították a lezserrel, de minden szuperkényelmesnek tűnt azzal, hogy olyan laza és öblös volt. A lábbelik és a ruhák a spártai stílusra emlékeztettek, ami magába foglalja a a fényűzéssel szembeni közönyösséget. Nem is csoda, hiszen ez a kreatív csoport azt tartja fontosnak, hogy kapcsolatot teremtsen a ruha és viselője között. Ráadásul a frizurák sem voltak mindennapiak, ez még inkább emlékezetessé tette.

   

Ennyi lett volna a FFW-ről, de remélem, hogy még folytatódik ez a történet jövőben. Hálás vagyok azért, hogy megadatott a lehetőség, hogy részt vegyek a bemutatókon és bízom abban, hogy nem volt unalmas végigolvasni ezeket.
