Feeric Fashion Week #1
In the big hurry, I forgot to write a usual blog-birthday post, since this little platform got 3 years old. I hope more birthdays will come on my blog, but until then there's a more interesting event to discuss here: the 11th Feeric Fashion Week. It is crazy to realize that in my three years of blogging I was there two times. This year I only got to spend two days there, but it was enough for me to inhale in me some fashion inspiration for the rest of this summer, at least.
The first collection I am going to present you is by Zeta1, established by a Spanish designer pair. There was no such thing as womenswear or menswear, feminine softness or masculine strength. The clothes were unisex, but the female models looked still attractive in their attire. I know that I can be quite inventive and crazy when it comes to design, so I could imagine these pieces as parts of a sleek outfit, with the help of some heels and a business casual handbag. Just like that. The collection is monochrome, so it's easy to implement any piece of it in your closet. The glasses reminded me of the safety welding eyewear. Gucci has some popular enormous sunglasses, so this could be a new in, couldn't it?

Sohase jó a nagy sietség! Példa erre az is, hogy el is felejtettem: a Her Little Promises 3 éves lett, és a szokásos szülinapi ünneplős bejegyzés is elmaradt. Viszont remélem, hogy még sokszor lesz szülinapos a blogom, de addig is történt még egy fontos esemény velem: a 11. Feeric Fashion Week. Már másodszorra volt lehetőségem részt venni a rendezvénysorozaton, azonban csak két napig volt alkalmam élvezni.
Az első kollekció, amiről írni szeretnék nektek, a Zeta1 nevű spanyol tervezőpáros kezei közül került ki. Az esetükben nem beszélhetünk külön férfi és női divatról, csak egyszerűen divatról. Hiányzik a nőies gyengédség és a férfias határozottság. Annak ellenére, hogy ruháik az unisex kategóriába írják be magukat, a női modellek vonzóak tudtak maradni. Tudom, néha túlságosan is fantáziadús ötleteim vannak, de egy magassarkú és egy sikkes táska segítségével akár egy elegáns szettet is ki lehet hozni ezekből a darabokból. A kollekció, továbbá, monokróm, így minden gardróbban könnyen meg lehet találni a helyét. A napszemüvegek szemvédőkre hasonlítottak. Dehát a Gucci nagy keretes szemüvegei is elég ismertek, így ezeknek is esélyük lehet a népszerűségre.
Probably the following location was the craziest this year: Ford Mecatronics. We were taken back in the workshops, where the cars were lifted up and down, without break. And this is how it went on during the whole presentation. The models were wearing headgear, successfully blending in the unusual setting. The collection was designed by Reprobable, an open-minded and minimalist approach to the sometimes too-much fashion world. The fundamentals of the brand are Honesty, Authenticity, Integrity, Love. Running through the theory that lays beneath the basis of this brand, I realized that what makes this brand to inspire devotion in others is sincerity. The most important ingredient. Adina Banea is the soul of this brand. Literally, she gives herself and she reflects. However, we don't see it in a distorted mirror. And -most importantly- she gives us lessons. The whole show was a unique experience.
After the last individual presentation of the day, the whole fashionable crowd returned to the Redal Expo, the usual place for the evening shows.

Valószínűleg, a legszokatlanabb bemutató helyszín ebben az évben a Ford műhelye volt. Ott a munkások fel-le emelték végig a kocsikat, mozgó hátteret alkotva. A modellek egy része fejvédőt viselt, így a divat kissé belesimult a nem mindennapi színtérbe. A kollekciót a Reprobable mutatta be, amely egy minimalista és nyitott gondolkodású hozzáállás a trendek nagyhozamú világához. A márka alapjait a következő értékek alkotják: őszinteség, hitelesség, integritás és szeretet. Fellapozva a Reprobable filozófiáját, rájöttem, hogy nem lenne képes inspirálni az odaadásra, ha nem lenne őszinte. Ez a legfontosabb alapanyag. Adina Banea a márka lelke. Szó szerint, hiszen magát adja, reflectál és mindezt mi nem egy torz tükörben látjuk. A legfontosabb pedig, hogy tanít. A teljes bemutató egy különleges élmény volt.
A nap utolsó individuális bemutatója után, mindenki a Redal Expo felé vette az irányt.
There always are veteran designers, who come back to the Feeric Fashion Week, year after year. Bianca Popp is one of them. Moreover, she presented this time two separate collections, just like last year. By bad luck, I missed her first show, but I was looking forward to her second one. Like a lot of designers, she has a unique style as well, that you can spot from across the room. Bianca Popp's collections are usually built on a limited number of colors, reoccurring piece after piece. Her dresses and skirts looked like bluebells or squills. But these flowers got a new color, instead of indigo and blue, they were painted in yellow, gray, black and white. The patterns gave some twist to the eyes. What I really liked was the shoes with the open toe. What's more, stacked heels have always been the synonim for comfort, or blister free day out in the city. I think that the collection wouldn't have been the same without the shoes. The dresses and the footwear, all in one, broughts us what comfortable wardrobe means.

Minden évben kifutóra viszik a már veterán dizájnerek legújabb kollekciójukat itt, a Feeric Fashion Week-en. Bianca Popp is így tett, aki akárcsak tavaly, két időpontot is magának tudhatott a bemutatók menetrendjében. Sajnos, az elsőről lemaradtam, de a másodikat alig vártam. Bianca Poppról tudni kell, hogy mint oly sok művésznek, neki is a ruhák terén sajátos stílusa van. Minden kollekció korlátozott számú színre épül. A ruhák és a szoknyák harang- és csillagvirágokra hasonlítottak, azonban a kék és indigó helyett sárgára, szürkére, feketére és fehérre voltak festve. Mindeközben a minták változást csentek bele. A nyitott orrú cipők voltak a kedvenceim. A tömbsarok -szerintem- örökre a kényelem szinonimájaként marad meg nekem. A kollekció nem is lett volna teljes nélkülük, ami így egy kényelmes gardrób emlékét keltette.
Nikki Hendricks is an emerging fashion designer from DC. Nikki is powerful and self-confident, and we could see that when she walked down the runway just like a catwalk model, at the end of the show. She makes her voice heard with the help of her clothing line. She wants to strike a chord when it comes to minorities, so we could see the gender flow on the runway. Her new collection was entitled Half & Half. It was a culture and unisex-masculine-feminine blend. I think what matters the most is not feeling as a foreigner, regardless of who you are, where you are. The designer was inspired by her personal experience -Yes, I was following her Instagram journey- and we could feel the strong Eastern pop cult and African American vibes. The colour splash and elastic use reminded me of how people used to imagine the future fashion. Honestly, the collection was given a loud round of applause. No wonder why! :)

Nikki Hendricks feltörekvő divattervező az államokból. Nikki erős kisugárzású és magabiztos, ezt a következtetést pedig a show végig vontam le, amikor egy egyszerű meghajlás helyett végigment a kifutón, akárcsak egy vérbeli modell. A ruháin keresztül hallatja hangját. Sokáig szereti feszegetni a húrokat ha kisebbségi csoportokról van szó, a nemek varázsos keverékét hozta el nekünk. Az új kollekciójának címe Half & Half volt. A dizájnert egy személyes tapasztalat indította el a tervezés alapfázisában -igen, követtem az Instagram-on kalandjait- és lehetett érezni a keleti pop kultúra és az afrikai amerikai stílus erőteljes behatását. A felvillanyozott színek és az elasztin használata arra emlékeztetett ahogy régen elképzelték a jövő divatját. Végül, a kollekció hatalmas taps viharban részesült, ami nem meglepő.
