Her Little Promises

    This is a flash check in before posting the prolonged second part of the Photo Festival, next week. Until then, up to the extent of a few pictures I am going to present you my new hobby, the works of which I post on the new page.
     This new hobby is creating moodboards. These collages usually originate from a single image, found mostly on Tumblr or Pinterest, and I build up the final creation around it. The process inspires me, I get to know new artisits, I can experiment with new thoughts.
   Ez csak egy villám bejelentkezés mielőtt még jövő héten posztolnám az elhúzódott második részét a Fotófesztiválnak. De addig is, néhány kép erejéig bemutatom az új hobbim, melynek munkáit egy nemrég létrehozott fülben, fogom nyilvánossá tenni.
    Ez az új hobbi, pedig a moodboardok készítése. Általában mindig kiindulok egy közösségi oldalon talált képből, rendszerint Tumblr vagy Pinterest, s a köré építem fel a teljes collaget. Feltölt mindig inspirációkkal ez az alkotási folyamat, új művészeket ismerhetek meg, új gondolatokkal kísérletezhetek.
    Besides these moodboards, I have also started creating photomontages. I have always been in love with the works of online montagers and one day drooling over some collages, I realised that I could put my enthusiasm into getting down to making my ownes. I won't post them on the blog, I am just creating for my own pleasure. I inserted my first creations down below, although they aren't a big fuss nor spotless. Though, I am very proud of them, but who wouldn`t be of what he self-accomplished.

    A moodboardok mellett, photomontage-okat is elkeztem összerakni. Mindig is imádtam az online photomontage művészek munkáit és egy napon mikor éppen ostobácska örömöm éltem ki a bámészkodásban, rájöttem, hogy ezt a lelkesedést belefektethetném a sajátjaim készítésébe. Nem fogom ezeket is felrakni a blogra, csak magamnak készítem őket. Az első próbálkozásaim belinkeltem alább, habár nem olyan tökéletesek. De én büszke vagyok arra, amit kihoztam belőlük, hiszen ki nem lenne a sajátjára.

       I decided to make some DIY presents for my friends and family members. I made exactly six, and each one is different, because I do not like to make all the same. (Sorry for the lights, but I finished them at different times)
The basic parts are the polystyrene pine fir trees in various shapes and sticks. You`ll probably find them in any hobby shop. I painted them with tempera or with gold/silver spray. You can also laquoer them in order to be waterproof and to be a bit shiny, or you can choose a lacquer with glitter to be more festive. Then I waited for the painting to dry and after that I decorated them with sequins (you glue on clothes), pearls, glitter (put little spots as christmas balls). You can put a ribbon or tie a tape around it. But these are just ideas, you can costumize it on your way.

        During summer I came into some patches and while I am really big fan of pop-art they really fit me. On the other hand, since last summer pathes have emanated from the runways. They are all over, on bags, on shoes and on my denim jacket. I got these patches from Bershka and the omlette badge from the Topshop, from Prague.
The only thing you need is an iron and baking paper or clothes, but if you like you can sew them. I saw pathes like this in Sputnyik shop, Stradivarius, C&A and Pull and Bear.

       A nyár folyamán szert tettem néhány úgynevezett foltra és mivel kedvelem a pop-artot, úgy gondolom, hogy még azonosulni is tudok velük. Máskülönben tavaly nyár óta a foltok elözönlötték a kifutókat. Rajta vannak táskákon, cipőkön, na meg az én farmer dzsekimen. Ezeket a Bershkában vettem, de ettől függetlenül láttam még a Sputnyik shop, Stradivarius, C&A és Pull and Bear boltokban is. A kitűző a Topshopból van, Prágából.
Az a néhány dolog is amire még szükségetek van: vasaló, sütőpapír esetleg rongydarabok.
       Remélem tetszett ez a rövidke bejegyzés, hamarosan olvashattok majd valami újat is!:)

      In these oppressive( I am not talking about the frame of mind) summer days a limonade or an iced coffee can be very pleasent. The latter was ticked last year, just a simple version of it, so I thought over it I decided to try out detox water and lemonade this year. I`m not good neither at cooking nor at baking, but this proved to be a very easy process.The point is that you have to put all kinds of things in plane water (if I am using tap water, I first will boil it). By all kind of things I mean fruit and herbs. I made it with mint, lavander and lemongrass. You can pour sugar as well, if you`re sweet-tooth. The more you let the fruit in the  water,  the more the water takes over their flavor. Although, you are not supposed to keep them more than half a day, because fruit tend to lose their shape. I usually put my jar in the fridge, but you can prepare these in any season.

     Ezeken a nyomott(nem a hangulatra értem:D) nyári napokon mindenkire hűsítő lehet egy limonádé vagy jegeskávé. Az utóbbit tavaly kilőttem,persze csak egy egyszerűbb formáját,ezért arra gondoltam,hogy ezen a nyáron megpróbálkozom a limonádékkal és detox vízekkel. Lehet sütés-főzésben rossz vagyok, de ezeket rémkönnyű elkészíteni. A lényege az, hogy bubimentes vízbe ( a csapvizet mindig először felfőzöm és megvárom míg kihűl) beledobálsz mindenfélét ízlésed szerint. Azért a mindenféle alatt gyümölcsöket és fűszernövényeket kell érteni. Rakhatsz bele cukrot is, ha édesszájú vagy.Én citromfűvel, mentával és levendulával próbálkoztam. Minél többet hagyod a vízben a gyümölcsöket, annál inkább átadják ízüket, de azért egy fél napnál tovább nem ajánlatos tartani, mert a gyümölcsök rostokra, ízekre hullnak. A kis befőttes üvegem ilyen rekkenő időben a hűtőszekrényben szoktam tartani. De a detox vízek nemcsak nyárára kitűnő frissítők, az év bármely szakában el lehet őket készíteni.

        Ha követitek a blogom, láthattátok, hogy hátsó- és oldalkertünkbe megérkezett a tavasz. Ez inspirált engem erre a csináld magad posztra. A környezet az szerintem, ami alkotásra serkent. Persze ez a kis semmiség azért az alkotófolyamat legalja. De nagyon jó kis kiegészítője lehet a szobabelsőnek és sokféle varációban készíthető el, nem is beszélve arról, hogy mennyire időigénytelen.
         A következő dolgokra van szükségetek, amiket a legközelebbi hobby boltban be is szerezhettek: moha ( ezt akár a természetben is megszerezheted), kis cserepek vagy akármi más, ami erre a célre megfelel és művirágok. Ízlés szerint válaszhatók színpaletták, különböző színű virágokat is lehet kombinálni.A mohát csak egyszerűen bele kell tuszkolni a cserépbe,s majd bele kell szúrogatni a virágokat. Voilá, kész is van!
         Jó munkát és legyen kellemes hetetek! Nem, mint nekem, mert engem elárasztottak a dolgozatokkal, s már alig látszom ki ebből a gondkupacból...

             Hi,dear Readers! Happy Valentines Day! I know a lot of people detest this day, because it`s just like a soap bubble or they just cannot be somebody`s Valentine so they want to feel sorry for them. Anyway, I think it is just a usual day which helps you remember how greatly  beholden you should be for your beloved ones and not at least love yourself as well!
 In the last time I tried out marbling which turned out to be much fun. At first I bought just two colors (trade name: C.KREUL). It is easy. You can marble almost whatever you want,but at first try I attempted to paint some white and colored papers. Be sure that the paper is dense enough, elsewhere it will be getting wrinkled and let it on the water for just like 3-5 seconds. The intensity of the colors  depends on how much marbling paint you put in the water. For the stirring use items that you don`t need anymore or disposable. I have been thinking of the usage of these papers: postcard, minimalist framed in, jewellery made of paper,etc...               I hope I made you in the mood of marbling! Have a wonderful Sunday!
